music and drama
"Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!" Psalm 100:1-2
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and adminishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." Colossians 3:16
Trinity Lutheran Church - Where Faith & Life Connect
Worship is an important part of that connection. One of our favorite expressions of worship is through music as we gather together each Sunday. Music can be a powerful vehicle for conveying abstract truths. We strive to harness that power to enhance worship and support the beautiful Gospel message.
Trinity provides a variety of musical groups, drama, and technical support opportunities for congregational members of all ages and abilities to share their gifts while glorifying God. Through involvement in these ministries, benefits are realized not only by the person in the pew, but also, through fellowship, to the participants themselves.
Sanctuary Choir and Bells of Joy
The Sanctuary Choir and Bells of Joy provide music leadership to our worship in the sanctuary. In addition to Sunday morning worship, they also perform several special services each year. Please contact Larry Marta, Director of Sanctuary Music at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or if you would like to get involved.
Our Ignite service features a modern musical approach to praise and worship. We use songs from many worship groups/leaders, as well as some original songs written by members of our worship team. Some of our influences are:
- Casting Crowns
- Christy Nockels
- Hillsong / Hillsong United
- Matt Maher
- Chris Tomlin
- Matt Redman
The Drama Team provides dramatic support to our Ignite Contemporary service and other special events.
