Look Up | Anchored in God's Word

Whether you’ve realized it or not…every single one of us is already anchored to something. That thing is holding your life in place. The real question isn’t if you’re anchored, but what are you anchored to? And is it strong enough to hold. Is it true? Hebrews 6:19 is our theme verse and tells us, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” God’s Word isn’t something we just hear on Sundays and then forget. It’s an anchor you return to everyday. God’s Word grows our character to look more like Jesus, develops our spiritual gifts and prepares us to be disciples and live out our faith.
