Misplaced Expectations
In the Advent Scripture texts, we often encounter peoples' misplaced expectations of what the Messiah will be like, and what salvation will entail. What misplaced expectations do we harbor in our culture, our church, and our families? How do we reorient our expectations on Jesus? A key idea in answer to this question will be HOPE.
