Ready, Set, Go

Jesus’ ascension isn’t the end. It is the beginning of the End Times, and the beginning of the Church. From then on, Jesus is with us always. He can be with us everywhere and anywhere he chooses, even though he maintains his glorified spiritual body. Not only is Christ with us, he sends the Holy Spirit just as he promised on Pentecost. This is the formative event that fuels the birth and growth of His Church. On Holy Trinity Sunday we continue to hear Apostle Peter’s evangelistic sermon, as he ties together each member of the Holy Trinity in testimony of God’s saving works.
