The Shape of Belief

In each of the Gospel lessons of this series there is an antagonist – a person or group who neither understands Jesus nor believes that he is the Messiah. Yet each lesson also includes one or more characters who demonstrate profound faith in Jesus. In each lesson, their belief takes a unique shape based upon their circumstance and their encounter with the Savior. Ultimately, human belief takes a cruciform shape as Christ becomes the center of their faith and life. Each week will help us to examine how belief in Jesus takes shape in our lives, in the midst of our challenges and struggles, as well.
