Unorthodox Wisdom

We have chased wisdom ever since the Garden of Eden, even though God will just give it to us! (Inspired by Proverbs 8 on Trinity Sunday) The world is wise in many things, but not spiritual things. Society’s “orthodox” views on religion always come back to saving yourself with your own best efforts and then trying again. Whether it’s trying to build our way to heaven, or knowing God by our reason, or just trying to hang on to what we’ve got, applying the conventional wisdom around us doesn’t cut it. It takes God’s “unorthodox” wisdom to rescue and redeem us from our foolish thinking.
