The Infinite Extremes

Series: Living By Faith, Not By Sight Topic: Faith Passage: Malachi 4:1–6, 2 Thessalonians 3:6–13, Luke 21:5–19, Luke 21:25–28

With so many events in life, we tend to marginalize the outcome.  We think to ourselves, "It could have been worse."  Or when someone asks how we are doing, we respond, "I'm okay."  We take away our highest high, as well as our lowest low in order to settle somewhere in the middle.  That won't be the case, however, when Jesus returns on the Last Day.  The destruction promised to those who have lived without faith will be far worse than imaginable … just as the redemption promised to those with faith in Jesus will be far greater than we could ever expect!
