First Responding... to Easter and to COVID-19
April 26, 2020 Series: Easter
Topic: Faith Passage: Acts 2:14a, Acts 27:36– 2:41, 1 Peter 1:17–25, Luke 24:13–35
Like everyone, we have been praying that sooner rather than later a change will be possible whereby churches can start again to gather together physically, perhaps in smaller numbers. It is so hard to be apart from each other. But this time of "exile" from the house of God actually has many blessings. Our circumstances make us not only treasure more deeply some things we may have taken for granted, but also look more honestly at our own hearts and lives to see sin we may have ignored and how Christ's grace has covered it.
