INward In Love

September 20, 2020 Series: "Up, In, Out"

Topic: Faith Passage: Leviticus 19:9–18, Ephesians 4:15–16, Ephesians 4:25–32, John 13:31–35

"INward in Love"  -  second in a three-part series . . .  The second "movement" in our spiritual connections is, after God has descended to us in Christ and by the Savior lifted us to Himself, connecting with other brothers and sisters in the Lord.  A primary word in Scripture describing this connection is, of course, "love".  Love in the Bible, however, isn't just a feeling or an emotion.  It is the willful act to sacrifice for others undeservedly, even for enemies.  Again, this is something Jesus did first for us, and it's only as we in repentant faith receive His saving love that we can be "rooted and grounded in love" for others.
