On Eagles Wings

Series: Epiphany: Wise Men Still Seek Him Topic: Faith Passage: Isaiah 40:21–31, 1 Corinthians 9:16–27, Mark 1:29–39

Do you ever just get tired of things?  It may simply be the wearying routine of your daily chores and responsibilities.  It may be relationship problems that just won't go away.  It may be a severe crisis that has sapped your strength.  It may be the challenge of faithfulness amidst the temptations of this world.  The question is not "where" to turn.  The question is to WHOM you turn.  If you're looking at your own strength, you'll find only more weakness.  If you're looking to others, you'll find them in the same situations.  So together today we gather to be turned to Jesus, our saving God who, as one of us, bears our burdens, our sin, our death and damnation . . . and lifts us to eternal life and strength to serve!
