The Garden Tomb

Series: The Covenant Fulfilled Topic: Faith Passage: Isaiah 25:6–9, 1 Corinthians 15:1–11, Mark 16:1–8

Christ is risen!  He is risen indeed!  Alleluia!  Our Lent and Holy Week worship series climaxes today on "The Resurrection of Our Lord" - Easter Sunday!  In "Places of the Passion" we journeyed to Jerusalem - through the Garden of Gethsemane to the courts of the high priest and Pontius Pilate.  Last Thursday we were with our Lord in the upper room, and Friday we were awed at His cross as He took upon Himself all that we deserve.  Indeed, let us ever walk with Jesus . . . To see the depths of His love!  To behold the gift of His forgiveness!  To gaze upon the heights of His grace!  To marvel at the magnitude of His mercy!  We travel today to the garden tomb . . . and we need not be afraid.  For Christ is risen!  He is risen, indeed!  Alleluia!
