Easter Means... Inheritance!

It's the "THIRD Sunday of Easter".  Our Easter celebration isn't just one day.  We have a "week of weeks" of Easter worship - seven Sundays on the calendar!  And, of course, the resurrection of Christ is, all through the year, our reason for gathering on Sunday - the "Lord's Day" it's called, the "Day of Resurrection".  The Easter Greeting should be the way we start, not just Sundays, but every day in our hearts as we remember our Baptism.  Knowing that Christ is risen is what daily raises you from the pit of your sin and guilt and fears and death.  Indeed, we're hearing this season in our worship what "Easter Means".  Today . . .  "Inheritance!"
