Confirmation and Pre-Confirmation

What is Confirmation

A class designed for 7th and 8th graders to help them gain a deeper understanding of their faith leading to the confirmation of their baptism.

Built around the small-group concept, our Confirmation students get the very best opportunities to learn the basics of Christian faith: The Apostles Creed, the Ten Commandments, The Lord's Prayer, Holy Baptisn, Holy Communion, and the Office of the Keys.

In addition to growing in their faith, students also develop strong and lasting relationships with one another and with adult guides who help them each step of the way in becoming a committed follower of Jesus Christ. Students learn to reflect on and apply worship messages for themselves by completing worship notes. The Rite of Confirmation is held when our students give a public statement of their faith in the Lord and their devotion to Him.

The students meet during the fall and spring on Wednesday nights for study, servant projects, fellowship, and small group time.

Pre-Confirmation

For our 5th & 6th graders, we use action-oriented games, lessons and role-playing to gain a deeper understand of God's Word and what it means for our lives. We also meet during the fall and spring on Wednesday nights. These students meet in Conference Room 2 where spiritual growth & fun happen hand-in-hand.
