The Role of Church and Family
Trinity exists to glorify God and make disciples by partnering in households of faith. We understand that ministry just doesn’t happen in a 40,000 square foot building called Trinity Lutheran Church, but happens anywhere a follower of Christ will walk. Ministry happens wherever a follower of Christ and an opportunity from the Lord presents itself - whenever faith and life connect.
There is no greater arena for this to happen than inside our homes. Our mission is to equip households to actively be disciples of Christ. This means that Trinity wants to help households worship together, have faith conversations together, serve together, and tell others about Christ. The home is the core of ministry. What happens in the home matters more than what happens at church. Strong ministry in the home leads to strong ministries at church. Without it, ministries within the church will never thrive.
We have ministries focused on young families, young adults, children, youth, men, women, and seniors. We invite you to explore what these ministries have to offer.
Leadership and Volunteering
Our leaders and volunteers are an essential part of any ministry at Trinity. Leaders and volunteers are made up of adults of all ages from all kinds of different backgrounds. The one thing that they all have in common is that they desire and enjoy impacting the lives of others through sharing Christ's love through serving. We desire to use the gifts that the Holy Spirit has given you and allow you to serve Him in a way that will give God the most glory. This may mean teaching Sunday School if you have a love or passion for teaching and children or if you are good with your hands, you might consider serving on the properties board.
We can match the gifts God has given you with a ministry here at Trinity. If you are thinking about serving, we encourage you to start off by getting a taste of where you are passionate about serving. If you want to serve, but are not sure of your gifts or passions let us help. Please contact Karl Winkler or Laura Kuegele if you feel the Lord leading you in this direction.
