There's a  joke that's commonly told among married people.  "What's his/hers is mine, and what's mine is mine."   Our gracious, loving God says something similar, but He is absolutely serious.  "What's His, is ours!"   His Son is ours.  His Word is ours.  His Spirit is ours.  His grace is ours.  His life is ours.  In fact, we have been given "every spiritual blessing in Christ!"  (Eph. 1:3)
