Being Both Broken & Transparent

On those days when we don't feel very "worthy" or "spiritual," it is harder to come to worship, isn't it?  After all, everyone else is smiling and "doing great!"  Is there something wrong, then, with us?  And is it being hypocritical to act as if all is well, when the truth is otherwise?   It's a far more common dilemma than we may care to admit.  At the same time, however, the church IS "a hospital for sinners, not a trophy case for winners."  So what we expect from God when we are "both broken and transparent?"
