Kingdom Treasures

The parables of the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price may both be interpreted Christologically… This means that Jesus pays it all, and he purchases US! To our Lord, we are the treasure and the pearl for which Jesus pays a great price. The parable of the net is similar to the parable of the weeds… God will judge between the good and the bad. We are those who cast the net by proclaiming the good news of Jesus.
