Don't Bother Me!

October 11, 2020 Series: Grace and Goodness

Topic: Faith Passage: Isaiah 25:6–9, Philippians 4:4–43, Matthew 22:1–14

"I'm in a hurry to get things done.  Oh, I rush and rush until life's no fun." , , ,  These lyrics from "Alabama" seem to be the theme for life for many people, working people and even retired people.  The problem with all the hurrying and rushing is that we can lose track of the really important things in life like family, rest, and refreshment.  Most crucially, we can lose track of our relationship to God and forget his abundant goodness.  We forget that He supplies our every need.  Today God invites us to a feast, a feast beyond what anyone could imagine.  The Holy Gospel today shows that some of God's people get so busy they lose track of what is most important.  How do we break this "hurry cycle"?
