Abide in Me

The next few weeks we will be unpacking what in means to “abide” as a Christian. Abide is one of those churchy words that many of us heard growing up—“you got to abide in Christ.” But what does that actually mean? Abide means ‘live in.’ You and I must live in Christ as He lives in us! As we look at our Gospels in John and one reading from Acts, we will see how Jesus intends for you and me to abide in Him in world that tells us to look other places for safety and security. Abiding in Christ is how you and I are called to live.
