The passion narrative is read from Luke. It is divided into three parts which precede three children’s messages. This combination of reading and children’s messages comprises the sermon portion of the order. Suggested readings and emphasis:
o Luke 22:47-71 – Ponder Jesus’ betrayal (by Judas and Peter), and how we betray our Lord.
o Luke 23:1-25 – Ponder Jesus’ trial, and how life is not fair.
o Luke 23:26-56 – Ponder Jesus’ crucifixion; just share the Gospel.
