All Hail the King

Jesus is once again teaching through a parable. He tells the story of a King, His Son, and a wedding. The King prepares a wedding for His Son and invites the guests. To His dismay, no one shows up and some even kill the messengers for the wedding. Since the guests did not show up, the King opens the wedding up to all people, regardless of who they are. However, the King also has the authority to reject anyone who is not worthy. The truth is that none of us are worthy to come to the wedding, and yet the King has invited us anyway. It is what the King has done for us through His Son that you and I are invited to the wedding. Only those who reject the Son by not having a garment will be removed from the feast.
