Ultimate Authority: Leaders, Laws, Corruption, and Grace

God is the authority. He is the ruler, creator, and sustainer of all things. One of the ways that He does this is by the earthly authorities He sets in place. Just as humans’ have dominion over animals and parents are in authority over their children, God also places leaders and authorities in the lives of His people. Submitting to authorities is a challenge for many of us. What does it look like? How can we biblically respect and submit to the authorities God has place over us? Does God use leaders even when they are morally corrupt? These are all hard questions that we will discover together as we dive into the pages of scripture given to us by the Ultimate Authority!
